Product Overview
ICB® Filters
All Lubricant Types
With thousands of installations worldwide and documented contaminant-removal results, the patented ICB® ion-exchange filter combines best-in-class chemistry and materials to deliver the most robust filter available since 1992. Specifically designed to eliminate dissolved oxidation molecules that accumulate and cause mechanical issues in bearings, seals, and servo valves.
Features & Benefits
Why Choose ICB® Filters?
- Removes the underlying cause of varnish by restoring fluid solubility and shifting chemical equilibrium back towards original fluid condition
- 100% effective under normal turbine operating conditions when varnish tends to be dissolved in the oil
- Prevents millions of dollars-worth of avoidable losses over a turbine's lifetime
- Eliminates oil-related downtime
- Chemically engineered to remove acids, varnish, and metals
- Restores fluid resistivity in EHC systems
System Details
Originally developed in 1992 for phosphate ester fluids, ICB ion-exchange filters have since been expanded to accommodate Rust & Oxidation Turbine Oil, Phosphate Ester Fluid, Aeroderivative Turbine Oil, and Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil. The industry-leading ICB technology offers unmatched performance in the removal of acids, varnish, and dissolved oxidation molecules responsible for slow or sticking servo valves, bearing deposits, bearing failures, and other mechanical issues that result in production losses.

ICB Filter Solutions by Application
Explore the same ICB variants featured on the homepage, each engineered for a specific fluid chemistry and contamination challenge.
Meet ICB RO
for Rust & Oxidation Turbine Oil
ICB RO removes varnish precursors and dissolved breakdown products continuously, breaking the accumulation cycle and eliminating the root cause of varnish formation.
Meet ICB FRF
for Phosphate Ester Fluid
ICB FRF is designed to address phosphate ester chemistry, removing acids, phenols and varnish while simultaneously improving resistivity, preventing EHC failures.
Meet ICB JET
for Aeroderivative Turbine Oil
ICB JET removes acids, oil coking precursors, and dissolved by-products continuously, breaking the accumulation cycle and eliminating the root cause of deposit formation.
Meet ICB AW
for Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil
ICB AW selectively removes varnish and varnish feedstocks continuously, breaking the accumulation cycle and preventing varnish problems altogether.
